Pinball Artist Wade Krause

More photos of my visit to Wade from Paul Breski. Wade was one of the originators of Circus Punks — you can see some of them in his office.

Each vintage  backglass in Wade’s office is beautifully and perfectly restored.  I’ll have photos of those tomorrow.

Visit to Wade Krause

I had the good fortune to make a visit to Wade Krause at his shop in Clovis. A-mazing.  To start the visit off, Wade’s 1940s Ramasees game gave me some excellent advice.

Then Wade was kind enough to let me interview him about his work on the visible pinball project, his experiences as a pinball artist living in the California Central Valley (not exactly a pinball mecca), and other pinball topics. Wade’s interview will be part of bonus material on the Pinball Donut Girl dvd.

I’ll post some of Paul Breski’s stills from the shoot later.  (Paul and I did a music video project with Rude Dog Rudy Strukoff this weekend as well.)
